Both teams started slowly, combining for four penalties within the first six questions.  A small run in the middle of the half helped City Honors to a 105-60 halftime lead.

The teams traded toss-ups to start the second half but City Honors scored 145 points in a run that featured three power marks by three different players and a pair of full, 30-point bonus conversions.

The championship was City Honors' second regional title.
